NFPC FP Youth Hackathon & Investment Challenge

Develop or present a youth-led solution for last-mile contraceptive access or sexual and reproductive health service delivery in Nigeria.

Eligibility

Restricted to Nigerian citizens aged 18–29 who are registered participants of the 9th Nigeria Family Planning Conference. Apply alone or in a team of up to three; every team member must be registered. Existing innovations and new concepts are accepted, but each person or team may submit only one entry.

Benefits

Seven finalist teams receive virtual mentoring and a live pitch opportunity. Awards are ₦1,000,000 for first place, ₦500,000 for second and ₦300,000 for third; other finalists receive recognition certificates. Additional mentoring, media visibility and partner or incubation linkages vary by rank.

Cost

The official page does not state an application fee. Conference registration is required. Travel, accommodation and other attendance costs are not promised for hackathon applicants or finalists, and prize disbursement requires valid bank details plus a post-challenge report.
