How to add ViHLERT
Look for an install icon in your browser’s address bar or an Install option in its menu. If neither is available, bookmark this page to return quickly.
You can always use the website without installing. Learning and account features require an internet connection.
Three simple steps
- Save an opportunity. Copy its link and add it to your tracker.
- Plan your application. Keep your deadline and notes together, prepare with MyLane, and open the original website to apply.
- Keep learning. Open My learning progress to see your courses and programme progress, then continue learning.
These tools work directly on the website, including on your phone. MyLane uses a separate account. Applications are submitted on the provider’s website.
Save a discovery without losing your place
The Chrome companion lets you capture an opportunity from the website you are browsing and keep a snapshot of your ViHLERT learning progress beside it.

In desktop Chrome, open the official listing and choose Add to Chrome if it is offered for your browser. Review Chrome’s permission prompt before installing. No ZIP download or Developer mode is needed.
The extension is for desktop Chrome. On a phone or tablet, use the web tracker and learning progress page.
Already using the extension?
Open My learning progress, sign in and refresh. Choose Enable progress sharing for this page, then open the companion and click Sync from this page. Your snapshot shows when it was last synced; it does not update automatically.
Use the companion to review a captured opportunity before saving it to ViHLERT. Clear local snapshots on shared computers.
You choose what to share
The extension accesses the active page’s title and link when you click it. Learning progress is read only after you enable sharing on ViHLERT and choose Sync. It does not read your browsing history, passwords or forms.
Opportunities stay in your browser until you choose to send them to ViHLERT. Details sent in the link’s fragment may remain in browser history or sync, so avoid sensitive notes. Saved tracker records are private to your verified account.
